Had a great photo shoot yesterday with @iamraeserenity
I am currently reviewing and editing a couple of hundred shots. While looking at photos, I was inspired do another before and after example for my photography peers.
I came across this shot while going through the photos. I thought it was a killer shot, except it's overexposed. Probably by as much as two or three stops. Don't let that discourage you. This is why photographers should always shoot in RAW. There is enough information in the photo for me to bring down the stops and recover some of the details that was lost in the shadows. Look at the pocket on the right side of her jacket. Take a look at the scuff marks on the bumper that was completely blown out as a bright white in the original photo. I added something vignette to frame her more and draw eyes to the center of the photo. What do you think?
Control as much as you can going into your camera, but remember that magic can happen in post
