It's easy to find positives in the Stinger. Ride comfort, quality interior design, road manners, general hotness and big brakes all make 50k seem more than reasonable. Stand on the right pedal and more positives immediately show themselves along with the whites of your eyes and a big grin. But it's not all beer and Skittles. There are some negatives. The roof is low, so ease of entry and egress for people over 6'2" is proportionate to your flexibility. My knee kept hitting the fuel flap release so I'd have to get out, close the flap and do it all again. Space saver is par for the course but with 225s all round on the S, is investigate squeezing a real spare in. Centre seat is not suitable for a family of five, but your two favorites will have their own vents in the back. .
They really should be selling 400 a month but I'm not so sure people know what they're missing out on. The other problem is that 50 large is putting it up against some mid spec #suvkult 7 seaters. Not the same type of car, but the thought of added practicality is hard to fight off for some. Conversely, getting an SUV shopper to divert toward a Stinger is a much more challenging prospect.
