Water safety ad.
Strong sea currents (+ probably Rip currents in between) unbuckling my right fin & that's it for me. Can't continue.
Whatever it is, don't get too excited about scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking etc - these are equipment-dependent activities. Heavily dependent on equipment. Any Joe or Suzy can do it with proper equipment. Don't trust operators who say you don't need to know how to swim to scuba or snorkel. You may not need to if your equipment - BCD, life jacket etc works perfectly fine. But what if something goes wrong? I can lose my snorkel, life jacket (if I'm wearing one) but since I have horrible skinny legs, I'm almost dependent on my fins when in the sea.
When something goes wrong, always attempt to swim back to safety first thing first. To parents who send their kids to swimming classes, bravo. To parents who learn to swim themselves, double bravo. 2/3rds of this world is water, know how to get around well. Knowing how to swim might not be enough, knowing how to swim WELL save lives.
Berenang gaya bebas bila ombak datang, gaya menegak bila air stabil tak nak bagi fin tercabut. Tioman. "Just one touch and I'd be in too deep now,

So let me slip away..." #sea #swimming #swim #island #beach #watersafety #beachvibes #beachlife #video #wanderlust #wanderer #tioman #travelphotography #travel #natgeo #outdoors #nature #note10plus #igersmy #igers #likeforlikes #likeforfollow #follow #malaysia
